The deadline for abstract submission for the 2026 Great Lakes Annual Meeting of Evolutionary Genomics (GLAM-EvoGen) is approaching: JULY 24. Please encourage your trainees to submit abstracts - it is an awesome event: small, friendly, but very high level. 

GLAM will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the University at Buffalo, Center for the Arts. More information is available on our website: https://gokcumenlab.org/glam2026/

Again, the abstract submission deadline is July 24; registration will remain open until August 10. The participation is capped at 100 people.

As always, all presenters are trainees, and we warmly encourage you to support your students and postdocs in attending and presenting. Presentations include posters, flash talks, and 12-minute talks. 

Please also circulate this announcement broadly within your departments and social media. A flyer is attached.
