I would like to draw your attention to an exceptional career opportunity offered at the University of Göttingen in Germany. We are currently looking for candidates that have the potential to successfully apply for an ERC grant or the Emmy Noether program. If successful, the applicant will subsequently receive a permanent, 100% research position at a higher-than-usual paygrade. The research topic for the proposal must relate to Forest Sciences in a broad sense, which also includes the evolution of forest species (both plants and animals), or even wildlife ecology, management, or genetics/genomics, provided that some link to, or relevance for, forestry or forest ecosystems can be demonstrated.
