Dear all, We are pleased to announce our upcoming online course on Nanopore Direct RNA Sequencing, taking place on 14–17 December, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM (Berlin time). Course website: https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course59c/ This four-day course combines theoretical lectures with hands-on bioinformatics training, covering the complete workflow for Nanopore direct RNA sequencing data analysis, from basecalling and alignment to transcript and isoform quantification, poly(A) tail length estimation, and RNA modification detection, with a focus on the latest chemistry. The course will conclude with a dedicated hands-on session, during which participants will have the opportunity to analyse their own datasets or work on selected research projects under expert guidance. The course is designed for researchers with a basic understanding of RNA sequencing and experience working in a Unix/Linux command-line environment.
